Plot[]
The episode begins with Jenna singing onstage (Goodness Gracious) . She is on her own sense Dacav5 went their seperate ways. It is shown that Jenna is now a star and travels in her own limo. Brenda on the other hand is still apparently struggling and has to travel by a cab. Jenna shifts into a new house and sees a letter from Dev, but isn’t apparently interested in what he has to say and throws the letter in the trash. Brenda on the other hand is shown getting rid of all her meds, kept in her medicine cabinet. It is next shown that Jenna is still really angry with Brenda and has no qualms in letting her know that. Andy congratulates his whole team on “a job well done”.
Meanwhile in Ashfalls High, Jo, performs (New York State Of Mind). At the same time Jenna performs the same song at NYADA in a class taught by Paris, under the pressure of knowing the first freshman to sing.
She impresses Simon, who later compliments her and helps her deal with the lack of communication with her boyfriend, Andy. Jo is welcomed into the school, but is disappointed when she hears them making fun of an overweight lunch lady, whom she reveals is her mother. Andy, followed by Dacav5 jr. later apologize for their behavior, and their actions motivate Melissa to deem them unpopular once more.
The next day, Jo is walking home and she is being chased by a group of girls and Joannie rescues her and she says "be careful"
